Against alcohol

Doctors leaders ask for more difficulties to get alcohol, limit the sale and graphic warning to reduce problems associate with alcohol. Intention is reduce the costs 55 millions annuals.


However, the industries not approved the graphic warning* in the bottles to reduce sales. The Alcohol Health Alliance demanding that A third of the label on all cans and bottles of alcohol should be given a graphic warning; a ban on all alcohol advertising* and sponsorship*; increase the price of high-strength* products; etc ... .

Sir Ian Gilmore, the AHA's chair, say that action is urgently, because the young people in Spain drinking more than younger’s in UE.

In my personal view, raise the prise can help at people to drink less, but will not necessary put a graphic warning as the cigarettes, because are exaggerate images and nasty*.

Graphic warning: advertencies visuals.

Advertising: publicitat.

Sponsorship: promocionar.

High-strenght: llarga duració.

Nasty: que causa fastig .
